Garry brings to our team over 24 years of experience in the security industry.  Prior to joining SRMC, he worked as an internal physical security and technology analyst/manager for private businesses.  His expertise ranges from guard service management to executive protection to physical systems design, budgeting, integration, and installation to project, vendor, and client management.  He has in-depth knowledge of multiple access control, video surveillance, and perimeter protection systems including Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel OnGuard, AMAG Symmetry, Honeywell, Bosch, and System Galaxy, as well as many other manufacturers of technology solutions.  He now utilizes the insights gained from his real-world experience to ensure that security technology design elements meet the operational and security objectives of each project with appropriate consideration given to the client’s capabilities and that systems are properly installed and integrated to be operated for optimal effectiveness and efficiency.

Effective risk management begins with understanding the risks in context. Only by clearly identifying and evaluating threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts can informed decisions be made about what should be mitigated, what can be transferred, and what must be consciously accepted. This disciplined approach ensures resources are applied where they matter most and risks are managed and not assumed.
