Dan has been in the security field for over 25 years after a successful career in the United States Army, where he served in increasingly responsible positions in the Military Police and Resource Management, retiring as a Major.  As an expert in TJC and CMMS security management plan requirements, he is attuned to developing effective security programming that is based on a facility’s circumstances, including how the organization manages workplace violence and security during an emergency or disaster.  He is noted for his demonstrated strength in identifying threats and vulnerabilities, recognizing potential security issues, concerns, and program challenges, and developing innovative, cost-effective mitigation measures.  As a published author and guest speaker at national annual professional conferences, he also strives to provide training and information to help people interact with their environment in a way that protects and promotes security and awareness.
