Paul brings more than 45 years of experience in university policing and public law enforcement, including service as Chief of The Ohio State University Police Division following a 28-year career with the Columbus Division of Police. At OSU, he led a major reorganization, introducing crime analysis and problem-oriented strategies to address campus safety challenges, and directed public safety operations for high-profile events such as football games, political campaigns, and dignitary visits. A longtime instructor and subject matter expert with the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4), he helped shape best practices and training for intercollegiate and professional sports venues. His work with Interpol and international assignments, including in the Middle East, further broadened his expertise. Today, Paul continues to serve on campus, community, and professional work groups, and shares his knowledge as a frequent lecturer at universities, state and national conferences, and community forums.
My philosophy is that every client’s unique needs must remain at the center of our work as we collaborate to identify the most effective security solutions.
