Douglas's Personal Security Philosophy

Developing an effective security plan is a collaborative partnership between SRMC and the client. Open communication and a clear understanding of the client’s concerns are essential to creating a successful security strategy.  I believe that every stakeholder involved in the planning process should be actively engaged, as the strongest security plans are built through shared understanding and commitment.

Security should be approached as a multifaceted process. The client is the first line of defense, and all other elements of the security plan are designed to support and enhance their ability to mitigate risk.  A thorough risk assessment is typically conducted at the outset to ensure all parties have a clear understanding of the potential threats, vulnerabilities, and concerns.  This assessment allows us to develop a security plan that is appropriately tailored to the client’s specific needs and risk profile.
