Lynda L. Buel, CPP, CFE, CSC, CPTED PRACTITIONER

Lynda is the Owner, President & CEO. She holds a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice from The Ohio State University and has over 39 years of professional security management experience.

She has extensive experience in conducting security program reviews, developing security-related policies and procedures, training programs such as workplace violence prevention programs and reviewing technology (access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems) for new facility/renovation projects. She serves as the “Virtual” Security Director for several organizations and is a member of the Corporate Threat Assessment Team (TAT) for a privately-held organization.

Lynda holds a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation from ASIS International (Arlington, Virginia), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (Austin, Texas), and is a CPTED Practitioner who earned her designation through Florida Atlantic University, School of Architecture.

She is a member of ASIS International, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC), the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), National Association of Campus Safety Administrators (NACSA), the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS), the International CPTED Association (ICA), and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
